ROVASI provides lighting solutions for the V City shopping mall

The building designed by the Benoy Architectural firm covers an area of 300.000 square feet and is the largest shopping mall in the district. This shopping mall features a modern lifestyle concept that appeals to both young local people as well as tourists.
V-CITY is strategically located atop Tuen Mun MTR Station, Light Rail Station and a major transportation hub in the New Territories West, Hong Kong.
The building has indoor footbridges connecting places like the Tuen Mun West Rail terminal, Light Rail stations, Tuen Mun City Hall and San Hui.
V CITY will be in the centre of a district with very strong potential for economic growth, it is expected to welcome over 100.000 visitors per day. It is a lot of people for whom to illuminate the way.
As the ideal option, the centre's lighting designers chose ROVASI lighting, and the ROVASI WATERTIGHT range was supplied for the above-mentioned indoor footbridges. WATERTIGHT lights are compact, recessed downlights with IP65 protection and IK07.

SUPER, DAU and LYNX IP65 Surface mounted
We are pleased to introduce the LED new range SUPER, DAU and LYNX.
These ranges have been specially designed to be installed in solid ceilings or where there is no space for recessed mounting. SUPER has a cilindrical design, DAU a cubic design and LYNX is characterised to ensure a IK10 protection thanks to its polycarbonate diffuser.
Suggested applications: porches, shopping centers, leisure areas, car parks, service stations, industrial facilities, outdoor ceilnigs in high humidity areas or interior spaces that require low-maintenance. These ranges have accessories in order get the fixtures with different installation characteristics: as a projector, as a wall mounted luminare or as a suspension. In this way, it is possible to keep the same aesthetical elements in the archictural environement. LYNX is suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces in schools, sport areas, healthcare centers, car parks and so on as it is vandal-proof.

Global lighting manufacturer, Havells Sylvania is celebrating threefold success for its WOW Sylvania promotion at this year’s Institute of Promotional Marketing (IPM) Awards. Havells Sylvania and Platform, the promotional marketing company that helped develop the scheme, collected three Gold awards for Best Sales Incentive Programme, Best International Campaign and the inaugural Best Business to Business Campaign.
The annual IPM Awards 2014 ceremony was held on 10 June at the London Hilton, Park Lane. The awards recognise creativity and effectiveness in promotional marketing campaigns, with 32 main and five special categories covering client industry sectors, media channels, objectives and techniques. With a number of blue-chip companies on the shortlist, Havells Sylvania took home an impressive three top placing awards.
Havells Sylvania launched its first pan-European promotion for wholesale customers, the WOW campaign, in April 2013. The promotion took place in eight countries and rewarded customer loyalty to Havells Sylvania’s Lumiance and Sylvania brands by offering an opportunity to win a selection of prizes including luxury holidays.
As a result of the three-month WOW campaign, Havells Sylvania gave away over 16,000 prizes and received more than 15,000 unique visits to the dedicated website. The campaign helped Havells Sylvania reach a vast number of European contractors, building relationships and gaining a positive ROI in extremely competitive times.

It must be remembered that artificial lighting plays a decisive role in consumers’ purchasing actions. In fact, in a shop, a supermarket or even a bakery, lighting will be decisive, as the products on display are valued according to quality criteria which will have an influence on customers’ purchasing behaviour.
In accordance with this idea, ROVASI provides lighting suitable for presenting products in shops. It recently designed the lighting for the Hackett London store in one of the biggest shopping centres in Malaysia, the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Founded in 1979 in central London, Hackett London is a brand of clothing for men and boys offering fine, smart suits. To highlight their remarkable quality, it is important to have lighting with the same quality standard. That is why the Hackett London brand placed its trust in ROVASI products for lighting its sales area.
The lighting designers responsible for the project decided that the luminaires selected had to be from ROVASI’s BSM family. BSM luminaires are flush-mounted ceiling downlights, with trimless appearance.

Our Technical Department developed a wide range of IP65 downlights with low height: 65mm and 100mm. WATERTIGHT SHALLOW includes lights specially designed to be installed in ceilings with shallow voids.
